General rental conditions
1. Purpose of the contract
The present General Rental Conditions govern all bookings made directly on our website for the rental of our lodges located in Valais (Switzerland).
All reservations imply full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Reservation and conclusion of contract
The reservation becomes firm when :
- the customer has confirmed the reservation online,
- and has paid the deposit or the full amount, depending on the option chosen.
A confirmation email is sent to the customer.
The rental contract is concluded between the customer and the owner, without any intermediary.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include :
- accommodation,
- bed linen and towels,
- heating, water, electricity,
- tourist tax,
- final cleaning costs,
- Wi-Fi (if available).
Not included: additional options (e.g. breakfast, parking, services on request).
Terms of payment :
- Reservation deposit: 50% of total amount
- Balance: 30 days before arrival
- For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival: 100% payment on booking.
4. Cancellation – Strict conditions
By the customer :

| No-show | 100% of stay due |
No refunds unless covered by private cancellation insurance.
By the owner:
In the event of exceptional cancellation (force majeure, technical problem, inability to accommodate), the owner will reimburse all sums paid, without further compensation.
5. Security deposit
A security deposit may be required (amount indicated at time of booking).
It may be withheld in whole or in part in the event of :
- damage,
- excessive cleaning,
- non-compliance with internal regulations,
- loss of key / locksmith fees.
6. Arrival and departure
Late arrivals must be notified.
Charges may apply for unauthorized late departures.
7. Number of occupants
The number of persons may not exceed the capacity indicated at the time of booking.
Any undeclared additional person may result in :
- breach of contract,
- eviction without reimbursement,
- and/or additional charges.
8. Rules of procedure
The customer undertakes to respect :
- neighborhood tranquility,
- reasonable use of accommodation,
- no smoking in lodges,
- ban on unauthorized parties & events.
Pets are welcome.
9. Cleaning & maintenance
Final cleaning is compulsory (included).
However, the customer must leave the accommodation in a satisfactory condition:
- clean dishes
- emptied garbage cans
- clean refrigerator
10. Liability
The customer is responsible for any damage that occurs during his stay.
The owner is not responsible for :
- theft or loss of personal effects,
- Internet interruptions,
- natural events (snow, ice, etc.).
11. Insurance
The customer must be covered by private liability insurance.
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
12. Data protection
Personal data is only used to manage reservations, in accordance with Swiss data protection law.
13. Applicable law & jurisdiction
This contract is subject to Swiss law.
Exclusive place of jurisdiction: Valais, Switzerland.
