- Rhône Valley
Suspended trails & scented shade: the art of walking at altitude
Contemplative walks around Loye: light, silence and breathing
From the hamlet of Loye, quietly overlooking the Rhône Valley, a network of peaceful routes unfolds for those seeking freshness, forest calm and the soothing rhythm of flowing water.
The path weaves between the Varone Forest, bathed in resin and shade, and the Bisse de Lens, a suspended waterway offering grand panoramic views over central Valais.
Here, the terrain is gentle and steady — slow-paced, breathing walks, ideal for couples or families when summer warms the hillsides.
